Be a Good Neighbor
When you make an effort to be the best neighbor you can, those living near you are more likely to reciprocate. Let’s all work together to create a safer, friendlier community.
We encourage all of our neighbors to get to know each other and have civil and respectful conversations when a problem arises. If you don’t feel comfortable talking directly with your neighbor, you can also reach out to the board at OakLaneManor@gmail.com

Follow our local noise ordinances and try to minimize loud noises between 10pm and 7am on weekdays and 10pm and 9am on weekends.

The appeal of one house impacts the value of our community. Do your best to maintain the exterior of your home. This can include mowing and weeding, removing mold from exteriors and painting when necessary.
It can also mean removing garbage and debris from your front yard at the end of each day, and bringing garbage cans in after your pick up day.
We hope that all neighbors recognize that there are times in life where this type of maintenance can become difficult due to injury, illness, age, or financial hardships. Give your neighbors some grace and perhaps offer a helping hand. -
Please care for, and clean up after your pets.
Remember that Delaware laws require dogs to be on a leash when not on your private property. This is for the safety of others and your pet. -
